You should have a look at Mark Levison &amp; Linda Rising&#039;s Agile 2009 session entitled, &quot;Learning: the Best Approaches for Your Brain&quot; (http://www.notesfromatooluser.com/2009/08/learning-the-best-approaches-for-your-brain.html).  One of issues they describe is how focusing directly on the symptoms of the problem may in fact work against you.

I&#039;ve taken thsi to heart and, as you&#039;ve notices, I&#039;m already finding that it&#039;s paying off.
